About These Formulas
Devine (1974) was originally developed for pharmacology to calculate drug doses. It's the oldest and most widely cited formula.

Robinson (1983) and Miller (1983) were derived from population studies and provide updated estimates.
BMI range (18.5–24.9) is the WHO-defined healthy weight range. These formulas are guidelines — actual ideal weight depends on muscle mass, frame size, and individual health factors. Consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
